When you’re caught in the day to day it can be almost impossible to identify your priorities. What’s really important and what can wait?
That’s where this really simple template comes in.
Take just 30 minutes to step back, sit down and really consider the tasks you spend your time on.
Anything with high importance gets placed in the top half of the diagram – jobs that simply cannot be ignored.
Tasks with immediate deadlines get plotted on the left hand side of the diagram – jobs where there’s a non negotiable schedule or imminent delivery date.
The less important the job, the further down it will sit, and tasks that really aren’t urgent today are put out to the right hand margin.
It’s only a simple exercise, but you might be surprised how much of a relief it is to have some solid clarity on what you’re doing.
